LAS tools pro version 6.0.800 Released

CALGARY, ALBERTA. (May 12, 2008) - LogTech (Canada) Ltd., a leading provider of software and data solutions to the petroleum industry, announced today the release of LAS tools pro version 6.0.800.

With the exception of a few minor enhancements, this release focused almost solely on furthering the performance and value of the Merge Files function. Specifically, a feature has been added LAS tools merge

that displays both a bar graph rendering of data ranges for each curve and a log curve display of the curves being merged, all in one dialog. From this point all that is needed to merge the curves is to "right-click" on the log display at the depth you wish to join the curves. Click OK and your curves are joined. Based on user settings, each curve type may be merged at individual user-selected depths or all curves will be merged to a common join point. It's just that easy. The Merge Files function of LAS tools pro has often been reported by customers to be the most convenient and hassle-saving utility they have used in any software product. Whether you receive multiple data runs from logging companies that require merging, or you want to merge core data with your logs, the Merge Files function should prove to be a significant benefit to you time after time.
