LAS tools pro version 6.5 Released
CALGARY, ALBERTA. (April 16, 2009) - LogTech (Canada) Ltd., a leading provider of software and data solutions to the petroleum industry, announced today the release of LAS tools pro version 6.5.Development of this new release of LAS tools pro focused on the development of two key enhancements, one to optionally display and print log curves in point mode rather than in standard curve mode and adding the ability to set the number of decimal places that curve data is displayed and saved in.
Changing your curve display from standard curve display mode to point mode is a very simple process. Just "double click" on track that contains the curve you would like to modify. From the Track Properties dialog presented select the curve you wish to modify then select from the two point mode display options. Click OK and you're done. It's just that simple.
To reset the number of decimal places your data is displayed and saved at you will find the new "Set Data Decimal Places" option from the Settings option at the top of the screen. Choose the desired number of decimal places from dropdown box then click "OK" and you're done.
Additionally there were some enhancements made to the software to deal with reading incoming LAS files having file structure standardization inconsistencies. And several minor software upgrades were made. LAS tools pro version 6.5 was shipped to customers on April 17th.
