Data Loading to LOGarc

Once your proprietary data has been gathered from all sources it must be prepared for easy end-user access from your LOGarc system.

The data loading process applied by our production staff using the LOGarc data loader is quite unique in that it performs a high degree of data validation prior to data being loaded. This automated system first validates that the LAS files being loaded are correct in content and structure. Next the system will match the well location found in each LAS file header with the same location in the general well index used. This process includes curve level checks for duplicate data to ensure that exactly the same curves from different files are not loaded more than once to your database.

If any data are rejected in the loading process the relevant files are set-aside and an error log produced so the offending files may be examined and repaired prior to loading.

The final step in the loading process is to create a compressed archive of each original LAS file loaded giving you one last bit of security that you always have access to your original LAS files.

The result of this rigorous loading process is easy end-user access to your data on either a curve-by-curve or file-by-file basis.
